Portable Folding Music
Can you tailgate at six flags and would that be a good idea?
My friends and I (about eight people) are going to six flags and we want to have a good time on a budget. We don't have $15 for a slice of Pizza and $7 for a drink. I know allot of people bring a cooler with food and drink but I've never seen anyone tailgating out there. (Illinois)
*For those of you that do not know what tailgating is - it's setting up a portable grill in a parking area with a couple folding chairs, music and maybe some cold ones.
Also, if you have ANY good food ideas please feel free to share 
You can eat food in the parking lot at Six Flags, however they do not allow tail gating. You can not set up a portable grill or blast music in their parking lot. However you can enjoy food with friends, without the folding chairs however. You must stay in your designated parking spot, and of course pay to park. If you are going to eat in the parking lot, you will want a pick up truck, so you can sit in the back and eat, or else you will be eating in your car. Also, enjoying beer is not a good idea in the parking lot, riding roller coasters can be dangerous after alcohol consumption and put you more at risk for long term injuries like brain damage while riding roller coasters.
By the way, pizza at Six Flags is not $15 a slice, the food prices are much cheaper. You can get a decent meal for $8-$12 a person including a beverage.
