What is the best bass guitar amp for around $100?
I play guitar around my home just for fun. I want to begin playing bass as well and don't need anything that is going to be for gigs, just good sound for around my house. I don't need it to be loud, but I do want quality built and sound.
For around the house, you don't need a lot more than a 20-30 Watt practice amp.
I've got a little 15 watt Behringer for practice and a 180 watt Behringer for bigger and better things. I've been very happy with both.
musiciansfriend.com has great deals on Behringers (and pretty much everything else, too), I would take a look there. I have no doubt you could get a practice amp for $100 or less.
